CDK Earns 2024 Great Place to Work® Certification

CDK, the leading automotive retail software provider, has been recognized as a Great Place to Work-Certified™ company in the U.S., Canada and India. The award was presented by Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue and increased innovation.

CDK has consistently earned the Great Place to Work-Certified™ status in the U.S. since 2022 and India since 2020, recently achieving the Canadian ranking for 2024. The certification criteria were based on anonymous employee responses utilizing the Trust Index Survey™ and focused on six key components – innovation, financial growth, values, trust, leadership effectiveness and maximizing human potential in the workplace.

Key CDK employee-centered initiatives included the CDK HELPs employee relief grant program for disasters and other crises; double-matched employee donations on GivingTuesday, which totaled more than $530,000 this year; and an intensive leadership program where top talent are brought together for career development. In the U.S., paid parental leave benefits were enhanced to include six weeks of full pay for birth, adoption or foster placement of a child.

Results from the Great Place to Work® CDK employee engagement survey included:

  • 92% of those who participated feel they can take time off from work when needed.
  • When joining the company, 91% of employees experienced a welcoming environment from colleagues and management.
  • Employees cite camaraderie (89%) and significant role responsibility (88%) among the top benefits of working at CDK.

87% of respondents highlighted CDK facilities in contributing to a good working environment. The company offers a hybrid of remote work and onsite locations across the globe, with corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas.
