Kasheesh, the first digital payment platform that allows anyone to split payment for online purchases anyway they want across multiple credit cards, today announces the launch of the Multi Use Card. Kasheesh’s Multi Use Card offers one, reusable card that can split purchases across up to five debit, credit cards, and gift cards by choosing a percentage for each.
Today’s announcement builds off the company’s single use card, a digital debit card generated by Kasheesh that lets customers split one purchase across multiple cards before it is deactivated. This helps enhance security, while also allowing them to better utilize their credit.
With the Multi Use Card, instead of having a new card number generated for each purchase, shoppers will have the ability to make recurring purchases on the same card. The Multi Use Card can be uploaded into digital wallets including Google Pay and Apple Pay, and then utilized for wherever digital payments are accepted including Amazon, utility payments, or rent. The new tokenized multi use card also brings the same level of security as the single use card, making it as secure as a traditional credit card, but with significantly greater flexibility.
“The Kasheesh Multi Use Card, with Apple Pay and Google Pay partnerships, combines flexibility, convenience, and control, all in one card,” said Sam Miller, Co-Founder & CEO at Kasheesh. “At Kasheesh, our goal is to help simplify people’s financial lives. We believe the launch of the Multi Use Card, building on the technology that was underlying our traditional single use card, will set a new standard in the way people manage their payments.”
People are increasingly looking for smart ways to maximize their savings. According to a PYMNTS.com survey, 60% of US shoppers used some type of split payment option in the past year. Rather than using a buy now pay later service, applying for a new line of credit, or maxing out a current card, Kasheesh is focused on empowering people to spend only the money they have in their wallet, not take on more debt.
“We are thrilled to give our customers yet another way to manage their spending with the Kasheesh Multi Use Card,” said Kevin Kim, CTO at Kasheesh. “The technology behind our Multi Use Card ensures a seamless and secure integration of multiple cards into one for multiple purchases, ensuring Kasheesh customers have the best and easiest way to split payments right at their fingertips.”
People can create their Multi Use Card in a few simple steps in the Kasheesh mobile app or on desktop by logging into their account. After the card is created, it can be seamlessly added to Apple or Google Pay for purchases on the go. Cards and percentages can be changed anytime on the Kasheesh Cards page.
The Multi Use Card is now available to all Kasheesh customers any place where Mastercard debit cards are accepted in the U.S. In the coming months, Kasheesh will also roll out proprietary AI technology that will allow for smart utilization across credit limits and maximizing cash back rewards.
