Verous Technologies, a new Small Business Administration (SBA) as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) joint venture between TekFive and Iron Bow Technologies, today announced its certification from the SBA as a 8(a) Program Participant.
“We are proud of this important milestone and its expected impact on future growth,” said Tony Taylor, CEO, TekFive. “Receiving this certification will allow us to develop new relationships and successfully compete for new contracts as we continue to grow in the federal space.”
TekFive and Iron Bow have established a strong track record of delivering innovative technology solutions, enabling federal agencies to tackle complex IT automation challenges with agility and precision. Through this collaboration, Verous Technologies opens new doors for customers and partners, granting them access to the combined strength of TekFive’s automation capabilities and Iron Bow’s expertise in Cybersecurity, IT Modernization, Digital Transformation, and Workforce Experience. Together, this partnership is poised to drive transformative outcomes by enhancing security, streamlining operations, and reshaping the digital landscape for federal organizations.
The SBA’s 8(a) initiative is a robust nine-year program created to help firms owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. Among other attributes, the program allows participating companies the means to equitably compete and receive federal set-aside and sole-source contracts.
“Receiving 8(a) certification is another critical step forward for Verous Technologies,” said Rene LaVigne, President and CEO, Iron Bow Technologies. “This achievement allows Verous to grow their impact and provide top-tier IT services to the government sector while addressing customers’ most complex challenges.”
Created in support of a Mentor-Protégé Agreement (MPA) under the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP), Verous Technologies’ mission is to provide cutting-edge enterprise technology and support to both the private and public sectors.
