The popular new product was selected to Building Design + Construction’s Top 75 Products for 2024 list in the Windows and Doors category. To produce its list, Building Design + Construction (BD+C) invited all product manufacturers serving the US and Canadian commercial, institutional, industrial, and multi-family building markets to participate in an open submission process.

From there, a jury of practicing professionals and the BD+C editorial team reviewed and scored the submissions based on the overall potential benefit to project teams, usefulness to clients, owners, and developers, impact on building occupants, and overall innovation within the product category. More than 90 manufacturers participated this year, submitting 140 products in total.

Designed to enhance entertainment areas, the Pass-Through Awning Window offers a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. The innovative product features a continuous hinge and pressurized gas struts that are hidden while closed to provide effortless operation. It is paired with a sleek, contemporary design that blends perfectly with modern architectural styles.

The Pass-Through Awning Window won bronze in the Doors and Windows category of Pro Builder’s Most Valuable Product (MVP) Awards. In its seventh year, the MVP Awards, open to building product manufacturers and members of the supply chain, recognize the most innovative, well-designed, smart, and practical products the industry has to offer.

According to Pro Builder, a distinguished panel of judges reviewed and selected products to bring the best of the best to light so home builders and contractors can stay ahead of the latest technologies that enable them and their homes to perform better, be safer, and function more efficiently.
