Triton Digital^®, the global technology and services leader to the digital audio, podcast, and broadcast radio industries, announced today the release of the latest Canada Podcast Ranker for the October 2024 reporting period (September 30, 2024 – November 3, 2024), as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.

For this reporting period, the top three Canada originated French-language podcasts included La revue de presse de Paul Arcand (Cogeco Media) climbing to #1, Le Radiojournal (Radio Canada) at #2 and Mario Dumont (QUB) again at #3.

The top three Canada originated English-language podcasts included Front Burner (CBC/Radio-Canada) again at #1, The World This Hour (CBC/Radio-Canada) again at #2, and The Current (CBC/Radio-Canada) again at #3.

The top-ranked podcast overall was Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard (Wondery Network). Wondery Network earned the #1 spot on the Top Networks Report with 1.84M Average Weekly Downloads, followed by CBC/Radio-Canada at #2 with 1.71M Average Weekly Downloads, and Audioboom at #3 with 1.24M Average Weekly Downloads.

The month of October saw several debuts including Kill List (Wondery Network), Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Lemonada Media), Crime Story (CBC/Radio-Canada), Stavvy's World (Audioboom), Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! (NPR), TigerBelly (All Things Comedy), British Scandal (Wondery Network) and more for the top ranked podcasts. Debout les comiques (Cogeco Media) debuted for the Canada originated French-language podcasts.

In October we welcomed a new network to the Canada Podcast Ranker—Lemonada Media.

This reporting period does not include SiriusXM data. The publisher’s inclusion in last month’s ranker concluded its appearance in Triton’s monthly Podcast Ranker, which organizations can choose to opt-in to make their listenership insights available to the public.
